VISITS OF MR WALKER & MR HESELTINE TO HONG KONG
We spoke recently about the arrangements that you are having made for COI to telex their daily news summary to the Embassy, Peking during the Ministers' Visit there. Do I take it that similar arrangements will also be made for Hong Kong for 31 March and 1 April and for Singapore for 2-3 April?
I have written to the Newspaper Publishers' Association about British daily newspapers for Ministers and yourself to be sent to the places in question; the letter has been copied to you. Might I perhaps suggest that British dailies for 23 March be taken out with you to Hong Kong for Mr Heseltine and his party to see?
