I am told that Mr. Parry left Hong Kong much impressed by many things but feeling that Government's programmes especially housing were too slow. This is perhaps a not unfair comment but must be seen against the background that some 50% of the population is now quartered in Government subsidised housing and against the next ten years programme. What other Government can match this? I think however we can say that he is reasonably well disposed towards Hong Kong and Government. We have no knowledge of any business connections made during the visit.
