MEMORANDUM FOR EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
VISITS OF MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT 1974
The Hong Kong Commissioner, London, having consulted Sir John Tilney, Chairman of the Anglo-Hong Kong Parliamentary Group, has suggested that invitations to visit Hong Kong should be issued to the following Members of Parliament during 1974:

Mr James Johnson

Hon C. A. Morrison
Mr T. King
Early Summer 1974
Mr R. Hattersley

Normally only two Members of Parliament are invited for each visit but both Mr Anthony Royle and Sir John Tilney have suggested that Mr James Johnson should accompany Mr Richard and Mr Ford on their visit to Hong Kong during the 1974 Easter recess. Mr Richard and Mr Ford had been invited to visit Hong Kong over Christmas/New Year 1973/74 but as this period would have been inconvenient both Members agreed to postpone their visit until Easter.

If any of the above Members of Parliament should be unable to accept invitations, the Hong Kong Commissioner has suggested the following Members as reserves;
