fortunate in having Sir Murray MacLehose as Governor.
6. Mr Pendry is quoted in three of todays daily newspapers
(cuttings from the Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Daily Mail
attached) as saying that there is a growing anti-British feeling
in Hong Kong over the Godber case.
7. Mr Haddon-Cave, the Financial Secretary, Hong Kong, has
told Mr Wilford that he thought Mr Pendry's visit had gone well.
