I am loaving on the 5th October, for a visit to Australia and the Far East, and I should greatly appreciato any assistance that the

Foreign Office can provide.

I will be in Australia from the 8th October until the 21st. I will then be going to Singapore from the 23rd Octobor to the 24th. To Hong Kong from the 25th to the 27th and to Japan from the 28th October to the 1st November.

a virtual repeat of the trip that I did last year.

In Australia I know a number of the Opposition Members including Mr Sneddon but I would certainly like to try and meet one or two of the Members of the new Government, particularly those involved in financial matters.
