Would you please refer to your telegram No. 1243 of 30 October and to my letter of 5 November.

We have now received an official invitation to the above meeting, which will be held in Rome from 14-16 January 1974.

3. The UK will probably be represented by someone from MAFF. I should be grateful if you could let me know whether Hong Kong would like to be represented in the delegation, and if 80, by whom. I should also like to know the title or rank of any representative from Hong Kong.
4. The FAO have left us little time. Our reply has to be with them by December 7, 1973. I should therefore appreciate an early reply.
