4. At its meeting on 6 February 1973, the Dependant
Territories Senior Appointments Board considered five
candidates for the post of Colonial Secretary. It

The Board recognised
that Mr Robert's appointment as Colonial Secretary
would necessiate a new submission to The Queen in
respect of the appointment of Chief Justice, but felt
that this was warranted in the circumstances.
