Beating of Retreat

HRH and Mr. Ogilvy will leave Government House fol- lowed by HE and Lady MacLehose.

On arrival at the Police Training School HRH will be met by the Commissioner of Police who will present Mr. D.G. Lloyd, Commandant of the Police Training School. The Commissioner of Police will escort HRH to her seat. Mr. Ogilvy will be escorted to his coat by the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration, Mr. B.F. Slevin, Q.P.M., and HE and Lady MacLehose by the Deputy Com- missioner of Police, Operations, Mr. C.J.R. Dawson, Q.P.M. The first six bars of the National Anthem will be played.

The Bands of the Royal Hong Kong Police will then Beat Retreat, during which the Evening Hymn will be played and the Last Post sounded, (guests standing for both). At the conclusion of the ceremony the National Anthem will be played.

The Drum Major will march forward and request the Commissioner's permission to march off. The Commission- er will seek HIH's approval before authorizing the march off. The Drum Major will return to the Band which will then march off parade.

The Pipe Major will pipe HRH, Mr. Ogilvy, HE and Lady MacLehose to the cals.

HKH and Mr. Ogilvy will leave the Folice Training School for Government House followed by HE and Lady MacLehose.

Arrive at Government House.

HRH and Mr. Ogilvy will attend a Dinner Party at Government House. The guest list is attached.
