Royal Hong Kong Police Review
HRH and Mr. Ogilvy will loave for the Government Stadium. HE, Lady MacLehosc and Lady Rowley will have left 3 minutes earlier, also the A.D.C.
HRH and Mr. Ogilvy will arrive at the Government Stadium which will be floodlit. The car will make a tour of the Stadium before stopping near the saluting baso where HRH and Mr. Ogilvy will bc mot by the Commissioner of Polico the Deputy Commissioner of Folico, Administration, Ir. Slovin and th. ADC to HRH. Mr. Slovin will escort Mr. Ogilvy to his at while the Commissioner escorts HRH to the saluting baso. The Commissioner and ADC will take up position on the rear of the saluting base. The Parado Commander will order a Royal Salute and the first six bers of the National Anthem will be played and HRH's personal Standard will be broken.
After the Royal Salute the Parado Commander will advance to the saluting basc and report to HRH that the parade is present, correct and ready for her inspection. At the same time an open Landrover will approach the base and HRH, the Commissioner of Police, the Parado Comman- dor, and the ADC board the vehicle which will then be driven at a fast walking pace along the front of cach of the four ranks of the parado. At the conclusion of the inspection HRH and the inspecting party will be driven back to the saluting baso where they will alight. After alighting from the vehicle HRH will take up position to the right of the medal presentation tablo which will be situated in front of th saluting basc. HRH's ADC will stand to the rear of the modal table. The medal recipients will have formed up already in a lino facing HFH. The name of each recipicnt will be called out in turn and the ADC will hand the appropriate modal to HRH as cach name is called. On hearing his namo called, each medal recipient will march up to HRH, salute, receive his medal, step back ono pace, salute again, thon march off to his right. The medals to be presented are two Colonial Police Medals for Gallantry, three Queen's Police Medals for Distinguished Service and seven Colonial Police Modals for Meritorious Service
After presenting the medals HRH will return to the salu- ting base where the Commissioner of Police, after saying a fow words, will present to HRH a brooch.
HRH will then address the parade. The speech will be translated into Cantonese, HRH remaining on the saluting basc.
After the translation of the spooch the Parade Commander will order the parade to close order and march past, foot units first followed by the mobile units which will drive on the track passing close in front of HRH. The Parade Commander will order "Advance in Review Order" and "Royal Saluto". The first six bars of the National Anthem will be played.
