Mr. FAO had such an aspect in mind when referring to the availability of foreign officers. He anticipates the majority of 'officers being recruited from United Kingdon,

Bong Kong, India and South Korea.

None of Mr. PAO's ships trade to Hong Kong. Those that call at the Port for repairs and the like, are, in the main, manned by British officers. Generally however officers employed aboard Mr. PAO's ships include Chinese, Indians, Koreans, Canadians, Germans, New Zealanders, Norwegians, Singaporeans as well as British.

It has not be necessary to grant dispensations to any of these vessels.

To-date he has recruited one Naster, three lat Mates, 27- 2nd Mates, two 2nd Engra. (motor) and five 2nd Engre. (steam).

(b) Mr. PAO's company, World Wide (Shipping) Ltd.,

is the most active in Hong Kong regarding all aspects of training. They have their own training school for deck cadets and seamen, and plan to build a HK$2 million complex
