Following arrangements made between the Private Offices of the Minister for Trade and your Parliamentary Under Secretary of State, Mr Royle, I now attach our suggested amendments to the draft brief provided by Hong Kong for the Prime Minister's meeting with Mr Y K Pao on 25 May.
I should like to have a copy of the brief as submitted to No 10, particularly as I am due to meet Mr Pao at a private lunch to be given by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank on the same day.
