HONG KONG IMMIGRATION ORDINANCE 1971

1. We sent draft revised circulars for overseas missions to Hong Kong for clearance by bag on 24 March (our Savingram No 20 of 23 March refers). Hong Kong have had the drafts since 7 April, and the new immigration regulations came into force on 1 April.

2. I have spoken to Migration and Visa Department who agree that we ought to send a reminder to Hong Kong, since overseas posts may be receiving enquiries. I attach a draft.
