Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 1972.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 59

of the Immigration Ordinance, the Governor in Council.

has made the following regulations

1.

These regulations may be cited as the

Immigration (Amendment) Regulations 1972.

Amendment of

regulation 11.

Regulation 11 of the principal regulations is

(L.N. 63/72.) amended by inserting the following after paragraph (3) -

(4) Any fee payable under paragraph (1

may be remitted or refunded by the Director

in such cases as the Governor may direct.".

Explanatory Note

(This Note is not part of the regulations,

but is intended to indicate their general purport.

The regulations amend regulation 11 of the

principal regulations to enable the Director of

Immigration to remit or refund any of the prescribed

fees payable under the regulations in such cases as

the Governor may direct.
