Immigration Ordinance 1971

It is proposed to bring the Immigration Ordinance 1971 into operation on 1st April 1972.

I am sending under separate cover two draft circulars explaining the new arrangements concerning :

(a) the entry of U.K. citizens into Hong Kong; and

(b) persons having a right of entry into Hong Kong.

I should be grateful if you would arrange for the contents of these circulars to be transmitted to all British Hissions as soon as possible.
