(a)

The main objects of these are:

to make provision for holding a fresh poll at a polling station during the Urban Council election, if the original poll at that station has been declared void due to the theft, loss or destruction of, or damage to a ballot paper or a copy of a register of electors;

(b)

to extend the time within which nominations for vacancies are to be received;

(c)

(d)

to amend the poll card so that the address of the polling station may be printed on it for the convenience of the voters; and

to increase the amount which may be spent by a candidate in connection with an election.
