snake fence in Hong Kong.

We are content with the amendments you propose to

the draft letter to the Treasury, subject to the fol-

lowing points:-

(a)

Omission of the word 'clearly' in the first

sentence of paragraph 5.

(b)

Reinsertion of the statement that the terms

of the letter have been agreed between you and

us.

Deletion of the words'between us' at the

end of the first sentence of the new paragraph
