We here are not happy about the second amendment suggested in paragraph 5 of your letter. I understand that the original draft was intended to indicate that the member of the UK Delegation who is speaking on behalf of Hong Kong would be sitting with the rest of his colleagues in the UK Delegation. Neither we, nor David Sellars in the Hong Kong Government Office here, think it correct to link the Hong Kong Spokesman with all the colleagues from the Comunity, Perhaps more importantly it infers that the Convection Community has some/comunication with Hong Kong. Of course this
is not so and the Hong Kong Spokesman sits in the UK Delegation, as his position derives through the constitutional links between UK and Hong Kong.
