Air trafic rights for SAS at Hong Kong is our third major problem at present. We propose to discuss it with Sir Murray MacLehose on 7 September (he returns to Hong Kong on 9 September). All we can do at present is to set out the position we have reached.

6. The brief for (g) will be provided by ID (1) in consultation with the DTI and this Department (covering the points raised in Hong Kong tel No 741 of 17 August copy attached).
