TRAFFIC RIGHTS AT HONG KONG FOR SCANDINAVIAN AIR SERVICES (SAS)

1.

This has now been discussed with the Governor.

2. We think it most unlikely that the point will come up

during Mr Rippon's visit but there is just a chance that it

will.

If it does, it is suggested that the Minister say he

can see that there is considerable interest in this matter

in Hong Kong and he will draw the Secretary of State's

attention to this on his return to London.
