1. I have arranged a tie for Mr Marsahll to have a short discussion with the Governor - 1030 hours on Thursday 7 September.

2. You may like to know that at Sir Murray's request I have now arranged for him to call briefly on the Governor of the Bank of England at 1500 hours on Friday, 8 September. Following his call on Sir Leslie Bryan, Sir Murray will also have a short discussion with Mr Payton.
