SECRETARY OF STATE'S VISIT TO HONG KONG

IMMIGRATION AND VISA MATTERS

In the case of B, the brief provided is for the Secretary of

State's visit to Tokyo. If this matter is raised by the

unofficial members of the Executive and Legislative Councils in

Hong Kong it is recommended that the Secretary of State should

say that he intends to take the matter up with the Japanese

authorities during his visit to Tokyo.

3. In response to any similar inquiries from the Press, it is

recommended that the Secretary of State should say that the matter

has been brought to his notice and that he intends to follow it up.
