Secretary of State's Visit to Hong Kong

Composition of Delegation
Delegation will be as at Appendix I with the possible exception of Serial 17.

Accommodation
(a) Living
Accommodation is being arranged by the Government of Hong Kong and details will be given later.
(b) Working
The Private Office will be in Government House. Mr Leahy will work from an hotel suite.
Communications
(a) Telegrams
Govt. House will provide a 24-hour service.
(b) Bag Services
The bag shutting on Tuesday 31 October at 1000 arrives at Hong Kong on Thursday 2 November
Security
The Hong Kong Government will be responsible for the general security of the Private Office and for the safe over- night custody of classified material when the Private Office has closed. During the day the Private Office will be covered by the normal Govt. House guard. A combination lock security cupboard will be required.
