4. THIS SCHEDULE IS EXTREMELY TIGHT, PARTICULARLY WITH REGARD TO THE CREWS MAXIMUM DUTY HOURS, AND MAKES NO ALLOWANCES FOR UNFORE- SEEN DELAYS. IF THE CHINESE CANNOT AGREE TO THE PROPOSAL IN PARA 3, THE VC10 WOULD BE UNABLE TO FLY TO BOTH SHANGHAI AND PEKING AUD STILL ALLOW TIME FOR A DEMONSTRATION AT PEKING.
