Mr. Laird, Hong Kong and Indian Ocean Department
The Secretary of State has agreed to the proposal that Mr. Royle should visit Hong Kong, Fiji, Tonga and Nepal in November.
2. I attach a possible itinerary which allows for three days in Fiji and Tonga, four days in Hong Kong and three days in Kathmandu. I should be grateful if you could consult Hong Kong as to whether in their view the timing is suitable.
