ANTI-BRITISH MOVEMENT IN
HONGKONG
By Our Hongkong . Correspondent
The steady grow of an anti- British movement among some young Chinese in Hongkong has become particularly noticeable in the past year. It is a form of the militant political action that has become well known in Western countries.
The organisation is young but it is well organised and well financed and seizes every chance to discredit the Government. Where the money comes from is a mystery.
The youngsters do not appear to be orthodox Communists, and anarchists is a term few people take seriously. Their activities show them as being not only disillusioned with the present Government and social system, but also disillusioned with all methods of changing it.
