the Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1971, I appoint -

ERNEST IR FON LEE

Justice of the Peace, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's

pleasure, to be temporarily an Official Member of the Legislative

Council of Hong Kong from 1st January 1972 during the absence

of the Honourable J. Cater, MBE, JP.

GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the

Colony on 31st December 1971.
