He would not however want to be saddled with the SEATO Conference in Canberra in May also, so that if we went for a visit to Russia and Poland in May I think we should either stick out for the SEATO Conference in April (with the visit to Hong Kong and Japan attached) or acquiesce in its being held at the end of June or in July (similarly with the Japan and Hong Kong visits attached).

We have also got the CENTO meeting, in London,

provisionally on 9 and 10 May the secretary of State would heant to avoid
