of Hong Kong with the Community in full consultations with the

Hong Kong Government.

12. HM Government consider it important that Hong Kong be

included in this scheme.

The Six for their part have now presented us with

proposals at Deputy level to this effect as regards the E.E.C.

We are now studying these in consultation with the Hong Kong

authorities.
