I understand that the question of the registration in Hong Kong of ships of the World Wide Group was discussed between Mr Royle and Mr Pao at dinner last night.
Mr Royle has asked me to tell you that we are informing the Hong Kong Government of the outcome of our study of this question so far as the United Kingdom is concerned. I understand that on his return to Hong Kong Mr Pao will be getting in touch with Sir Hugh Norman-Walker about this.
