5. On 6 April a letter signed by Sir L Monson requested comments on the Committee's letter "in case we are tackled by them" (the Press and Baroness Summerskill). No
action is required, therefore, on Sir H Norman-Walker's helpful reply which, with its enclosure, either refutes or puts into prospective the charges made by the anonymous writer from Hong Kong.
Sir L Monson has not yet seen the letter at Flag A but, on his return, he may wish to reply on the lines of the draft attached.
