You will remember that while I was

in London I raised the question of the continuing uncertainty about the Dormant Commission

You told me then, as I recollect, that Murray MacLehose's preliminary view was to agree that the document no longer served a useful purpose, but that he would like to see the papers before giving his final opinion.

I think there would be advantage in clearing the position before I leave, and settling the matter one way or the other.
