Defence Cost not fixed yet
In yesterday's Legislative Council, Financial
Secretary said that the present agreement on the
Defence Contribution expires on 31 March but the future commitment is still under consideration. He also explained that the reason for the indecision is that there is no basis for consideration of the appropriate level until the London Government has reached decisions on Far Eastern defence dispositions.
