With reference to our telephone conversation this afternoon concerning the position of Hong Kong, I should
be grateful if you would include mention of Hong Kong on the lines of Mr Sutherland's minute concerning India.
2. When the change over from tariff to quota was discussed at the end of last year with Hong Kong, they expressed their concern over the possibility of the UK
being forced to reintroduce quotas after 1972 in
addition to the tariff.
