time in the New Year. The Committee may or may not pursue the

matter further.

3. We have already received the report conveyed in your telegram no 465 of 8 July on the Senkaku Islanis demonstration which occurred

on 7 July. However,

reply to the allegations regarding Nr Whiteley's conduct which are
