+2)In_the____waking of laws the Governor and the Assembly shall conform as nearly as may be to the directions_contained in any Instructions given under Her Majesty's Sign Manual and Signet which may from time to time be addressed to the Governor in that behalf.

36. (1) If the Governor considers that it is expedient in the interest Governor's of public order, public faith or good government (which expressions shall, without préjudice to their generality, include the responsibility of Seychelles as a territory within the Commonwealth, and all matters pertaining to the creation or abolition of any public oflice or to the salary or other conditions of service of any public oflicer), that any bill introduced, or any motion to which this section applies proposed, in the Legislative Assembly should have ellect then, if the Assembly fails to pass such bill or carry such motion within such time and in such form as the Governor considers reasonable and expedient, the Governor miny, at any time, notwithstanding any rules of procedure of the Assembly, declare that such bill or motion shall have effect as if it fund been parsed or carried by the Assembly either in the form in which it was so introduced or proposed or with such amendments as The Governor thinks desirable which have been moved or proposed In the Assembly including any committee thereof; and the bill or the motion shall be deemed thereupon to have been so passed or carried, and the provisions of this Order, and in particular the provisions relating to useni to bills and disallowance of Inws, shall have effect accordingly. (2) The Governor shall forthwith report to a Secretary of Stato every ense in which he munkes any such declaration and the reasons therefor.
(5) If any member of the Assembly objects to any declaration made under this section, he may, within seven days after the minking thereof, submit to the Govenor ʼn statement in writing of his reasons for so objectiog, und il he requests the Governor to to do, the Glovernen #hull mi soon as practeuble forward a copy of that statement to a Secretary of State,
