ACTING GOVERNOR
In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause III of
the Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1971, I appoint
GEORGE RONALD ROSS
Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Justice
of the Peace, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure,
to be temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council of
Hong Kong with effect from 12th November 1971 during the absence
from the Colony of Mr Sidney Samuel Gordon, Commander of the
Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Justice of the Peace.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony on 11th November 1971.
