GOVERNOR
In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause III of
the Hong Kong Royal Instructions 1917 - 1970, I appoint

GE ORGE RONALD ROSS
Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, Justice of
the Peace, provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be
temporarily an Unofficial Member of the Executive Council of Hong
Kong with effect from 10th May 1971 during the absence from the
Colony of Mr John Anthony Holt Saunders, Commander of the Most
Excellent Order of the British Empire, upon whom has been conferred
the Distinguished Service Order and the Decoration of the Military
Cross, Justice of the Peace.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the Colony
on 10th May 1971.
