2. Bearing in mind the various factors concerned both in Hong Kong and Copenhagen I think that the latter date is

marginally preferable. I cen however see that it would be

convenient if Mr. Royle was able to discuss this freely

when he is in Hong Kong on 9 October. We could terefore

easily settle for the earlier date if that is what i

generally required. With this in mind I attach an alternative draft telegram to liong Kong.
