UK Contribution to Airport Development
The new Government in UK is at present looking into many
problema such as this. The United Kingdom economy has still
some way to go before it can be regarded as satisfactory and
we will have to consider carefully all demands on our resources.
British Interest
2. Her Majesty's Government are of course concerned in the
airports being maintained to adequate international standards.
Its value both to Hong Kong and the United Kingdom is fully
appreciated by us.
Control of Traffic Rights
3. Traffic rights, being covered by international air services
agreements, are negotiated by Her Kajesty's Government who are
responsible for Hong Kong's external affairs. The interests
of Hong Kong will of course be an important factor in negotiations
