K KEATLEY, wemmunnar, Correspondent The question of his own suc cessor as Governor of Hengkor g is one of the topics for discus- sion when Sir David Trench is host to the Forcign and Com- monwealth Secretary, Mr Stewart, from April 17 to 19.

Sir David's term has already been extended while the search for the next Governor continues. At Westminster there has been speculation that the post had been set aside a potential political plum, to be used as a handy vacancy for an ex-Minis- ter after the next Cabinet reshuffle.

Mr Stewart is visiting Hong- kong as part of a Far East visit that als? ciudes Japan.

He vill also have a working meeting with members of the. Legislative Council, and it is expected that meinbers of the Reform Group will press the case for increasing the number of elected members.
