/Question:
The Hong Kong Government announced last month
that it had decided to proceed with the construction of the extension of the Airport runway without waiting for an answer to our request for a United Kingdom loan. When can the people of Hong Kong expect this
answer? In view of the fact that this extension
I will primarily benefit British aviation interests,
do you not think that the British Government is
morally obliged to pay part of the extension cost?
