A Hong Kong company called "Modern Terminals Ltd.". in which all these Lines will be partners, has been formed for the purpose of operating a container terminal to service their fleets which will comprise upwards of 13 large con- tainerships. Modern Terminals Ltd. require exclusive use of one/two berths with back-up areas

Sea-Land envisage an ultimate requirement for 100 acres of land with 4 berths for their exclusive use. They have indicated a willingness to develop and operate the whole of the proposed container terminal at Kwai Chung
