In addition, the Government undertakes in both cases to dredge the

aroa fronting the berths to a depth of not loss than minus 40 foot Chart

Datum. This is considorod sufficient to enable any container ship likely

to use the terminal to come alongside at all stages of tho tido. Tho

Government also undertakes to provido suitable accoss roads leading to the

lots from the Kwai Chung Road.

Documents B provido for borrow areas both at Kwai Chung and on

Tsing Yi Island from which the fill required to form the lots must be taken.

These borrow areas have been selected with a view to providing adequato

fill for the particular lots and so as to be conveniently accessible for

the purpose of movement of spoil. The purchaser is required to form the

borrow arcas to suitable platform levels.

Bulky Documents

The documents themselves are somewhat bulky containing Tondor

Notice, Form of Tendor, General and Special Conditions and a Technical

Schedule together with a series of plans and drawings.

Since it has been necessary for clarity for theso drawings to be

reproduced in colour it has been decided that a chargo must bo made for the

documents so that they will bo roadily available to all who really requiro

thom.

These documents are available from either the District Office, Tsuen

Wan, Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Building, Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan, the

Now Territories Administration, North Kowloon Magistracy Building, Tai Po

Road, or the Crown Lands and Survey Office, Central Government Offices,

2nd floor, Fast Wing, The charge a set for each lot is $25.
