him to have committed that offence, does without lawful

authority or reasonable excuse any act with intent to impede

his apprehension or prosecution shall be guilty of an offence.

(3) Any person who is guilty of an offence under this

section shall be liable

(a) on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment

for seven years; and

(b)

on summary conviction, to imprisonment for

three years.

Miscellaneous

offences.

39. (1) Any person who without reasonable excuse

contravenes

(a) subsection (4) of section 4, subsection (1), (3),

(4) or (5) of section 9, subsection (1)(a) or (4)

of section 10, subsection (1) of section 11,

subsection (1) of section 13, subsection (1),

(2) or (3) of section 14 or subsection (1) of

section 26;

(b) any requirement made under subsection (1), (3),

(5) or (6) of section 4, subsection (5) of section 5,

subsection (1)(b) or (2) of section 10

subsection (1) of section 12;

or

(c) any directions given under subsection (7) of

section 4, subsection (1) of section 18 or

subsection (2) of section 19; or

(d) any condition imposed under subsection (1) of

section 8,
