particulars furnished in the prescribed form pursuant to subsec-

tion (1) of section 15 include respectively reference to corres-

ponding particulars furnished to the Director or to the former

Immigration Officer or to the former Registrar of Aliens in

accordance with the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance

or the repealed Immigrants Control Ordinance or a requirement

made under either of those Ordinances.

Sections 17, 20 and 27.

9. Sections 17, 20 and 27 shall apply to a person who

before the commencement date has been refused permission to enter

Hong Kong under the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance

as they apply to a person who is refused permission to land under

this Ordinance.

Section 17(1)(b).

10. Section 17 shall have effect as if subsection (1)(b)

included a reference to a condition imposed under section 15 of

the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance and in force

immediately before the commencement date, being a condition making

the same requirement as the landing condition referred to in the

said subsection (1)(b); and the provisions of the Ordinance shall

apply accordingly.

Section 18.

11.

Section 18 shall have effect as if subsection (2)

included a reference to a person who has contravened subsection

(1)(a)(ii) or (b) of section 3 of the Immigration (Control and

Offences) Ordinance or any condition imposed under section 15 of

the said Ordinance and in force immediately before the commence-

ment date (whether such condition was imposed at the time of

entry or subsequent thereto), but in whose case an order has not

been made under subsection (4) of section 43 of the said Ordin-

ance; and the provisions of this Ordinance shall apply accordingly.
