in writing to the person in charge of the party.

(4) The Director may at any time by notice in writing given

to a person in respect of whom any landing conditions are in

force revoke, vary or add to those conditions; and the Governor

may by order applying to all aliens in respect of whom any land-

ing conditions are in force or to such aliens of any specified

class revoke, vary or add to those conditions.

(5) The application to a person, while in Hong Kong, of

any landing condition shall not be affected by the fact that he

has left and landed again in Hong Kong; and without prejudice to

the foregoing provision, where any landing condition limits the

period during which a person may remain in Hong Kong, he shall

be deemed to contravene that condition if he is found in Hong

Kong at any time after the expiry of that period.

(6) Whenever permission granted to any person to land in

Hong Kong is subject to landing conditions, the Director may

(a) require that person; or

(b)

if that person is a member of the crew of a ship or

aircraft, require the master of the ship or commander

of the aircraft or the owners or agents of the ship

or aircraft,

to enter into a recognizance in the prescribed form in such

amount and with such sureties as the Director may specify.

(7) The Director of Immigration may exempt any person or

any class or description of persons from compliance with all or

any of the prescribed landing conditions.
