31(1)(b).

20. The reference in subsection (1)(b) of section 31

to the authority of the Director under section 10 includes a

reference to a permit of the Director granted under the

Inmigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance.

Section

37(2)(a).

21. The reference in subsection (2)(a) of section 37 to a

travel document, entry permit, re-entry permit or other

document issued, kept or nade under or for the purposes of

Part II, III or IV of this Ordinance includes a reference to

a travel document, entry permit, re-entry permit or other

document issued, kept or made under or for the purposes of

the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance.

37(2)(b) and (c).

The references in subsection (2)(b) and (c) of

section 37 to a travel document, entry permit or re-entry

permit include references to a travel document, entry pernit

or re-entry permit issued under the Immigration (Control and

Offences) Ordinance.

Section 43.

Section 43 shall have effect as if subsection (1)

included a reference to a vehicle and a ship not exceeding

two hundred and fifty gross tons which has been used in the

contravention or attempted contravention of any of the

provisions of the Immigration (Control and Offences) Ordinance

(whether or not any person has been convicted of such con-

travention or attempted contravention), being a vehicle or

ship in respect of which notice of seizure has not been

served before the commencement date under subsection (2) of

section 46 of the said Ordinance; and the provisions of this

Ordinance shall apply accordingly.

Section 51(2).

24.

Any condition imposed under subsection (3) of

section 17 of the Deportation of Aliens Ordinance and in force
