It should be noted that although the Authority will designate the facilities listed above, and will rent space for such activities, it will only build such parts as are essentially incorporated into the structure. The shop tenants will, themselves, fit out and finish the space in accordance with their own wishes, but subject to the Housing Manager's approval within the conditions. laid down by the Authority.
Finance
1. Total estimated capital cost: $3,755,000.
2. Total estimated cost of the Jah Fu Estate, including the Town
Centre; is almost $88m.
N.B.
Of this amount, approx. $50m. will be loaned by Government, and approx. $38m. will come from self-finance from the
Authority's own reserves.
3. Rents are on a commercial basis.
