these organizations and influential indivi-

duals, and has offered advice whenever

necessary. The Chinese Liaison Office is

now incorporated into the Hong Kong Government

Office in London as a result of a reorganiza-

tion aimed at streamlining administrative

control over Hong Kong Government agencies

in Britain, to enable individual agencies

to be relieved of part of their day-to-day
