Thank you for your letter No. HKK 14/38 of 27th August, 1970.

At the time when I wrote my letter of 6th August, I am afraid I had overlooked the useful material on detention centres which had already been sent under cover of your saving despatch No. 148 of 30th April. Having now seen this I do not think that we need trouble you for any further information on the subject. however, any fresh developments either of thought or practice occur in the United Kingdom, I would be very grateful to be kept in touch with them.
